Okay, most of you long time fan/friendz know that I have written and recorded a bunch of what some people call “man-bashing songs,” poking fun at men and harping about them getting a “better deal” than we women. It’s all been done with humor, but I’ve always hoped those songs made a few valid points about the inequalities between the sexes! On August 26th our country will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Women’s Suffrage and I want to bring your attention to a dear friend, recording artist and songwriter named Joyce Rouse aka “Earth Mama”. Joyce has recorded and released a wonderful new album called HerStory, celebrating women and this special upcoming 100th Anniversary. She’s included three songs on the album that I helped write: the title cut HerStory, Women Rock the World (with Lisa Palas) and We’ve Come A Long Way, Ladies, this month’s free download song!
